GOING ELSEWHERE: We are Canadian tourists preparing to travel to the Algarve on our fifth trip this coming winter. To impose a 10 Euro toll on the A22 for tourists such as ourselves is in itself sufficient reason to go elsewhere on our winter holiday. We are strictly against imposing tariffs on the A22 as it is without a doubt the main artery that we use on a daily basis allowing us to criss-cross the Algarve in a fast and efficient manner. Having to use the EN-125 as an alternative is unacceptable. We normally stay for a period of 30 days when we travel to your country and we have a rental car which we use each and every day we are there. A 15.00 Canadian Dollar surcharge daily based over a period of thirty days would add an extra 450 Dollars to the cost of our vacation, which is of course unacceptable. Thank you for your time.
