Last week we asked readers if they thought the Algarve’s road signage system should be bilingual (Portuguese and English) after an internet debate initiated by the Algarve Resident, which we reported on in last week’s edition.

Opinions were divided, with 52% of the voters saying that signs should be bilingual while 48% didn’t think the system should be changed.

The Algarve Resident runs an online poll every week – log onto our website at www.algarveresident.com and you will find the current question on the right hand side of the page.

Voting runs from each Wednesday for a week.

Your vote will be registered as soon as you click and you will see in an instant how your vote has affected the poll.
