Despite a cloud-free weekend, temperatures are expected to dip to lows of 2ºC, presenting a very chilly few days ahead. The National Civil Protection service has advised the use of gloves, scarves and thick clothing when going out, especially towards the evening. Winds will remain moderate all weekend.

The week ahead

Faro: A brighter week ahead is expected with no signs of cloud cover. Following a colder weekend temperatures are predicted to only increase slightly, producing lows of 5ºC and highs of 18ºC. A Northern wind speed is predicted for the majority of the week, turning north easterly as the week progresses and remaining at a moderate speed.

Sagres: Temperatures are predicted to average at a 15ºC high the week ahead, with lows of 8ºC. Cloud cover will remain absent after until Wednesday, when odd spots of cloud are expected until Friday morning. The wind direction is expected to stay at a northern direction all week and fluctuate from strong to moderate speeds.
