Free hospital screenings mark health week

The screenings consisted of ophthalmological testing, ECG, podiatry specialist consultations to detect feet related problems, densitometry (bone density scan) for the detection of osteoporosis and mammography scan.
An after-work conference was also held on Tuesday evening by our professional maternity staff aimed at mothers-to-be, in order to answer all questions and allay any doubts common to future parents.
The event was a huge success with approximately 200 screening tests performed. The hospital will be holding other free screening days in the future.
