Cannabis arrest

A man suspected of drug trafficking was arrested by Lagoa GNR, who also seized more than 100 cannabis plants from his home.

The authorities searched the man’s house in Lameiras after they became suspicious of drug dealing and found the cannabis plantation.

An illegal firearm was also seized. The suspect, 42 and of Swiss nationality, is awaiting trial.
