Backpack drive for schoolchildren

One essential item for every child is a backpack to carry around all their books both to and from school and from class to class.
From August 21, hypermarkets and other outlets throughout Portugal will be stocking their back to school range.
Each backpack donated will be given to a child starting the new school year and needs to be big enough to hold A4-sized books. Buying one early on in the promotion means more choice and lots of stock, which may run out as the return to school date draws nearer.
Alternatively, backpacks can be purchased for €5 at The Golf Shack at Vale de Lousas Retail Park, on the EN125 between Alcantarilha and Porches.
Backpacks can be delivered to Castelo de Sonhos, Silves, the Holiday Inn Algarve, Armação de Pêra or The Golf Shack between August 21 and September 6.
