Health and beauty workshops

Those wishing to learn about the benefits of Mediterranean plants when used for health and beauty are invited to attend the workshop ‘No jardim da Casa Islâmica – workshop sobre plantas mediterrânicas’ on Saturday, September 15 from 9.30am.
Participants will learn how to make oils, ointments, teas, natural scrubs, face masks and home fragrances, using rosemary, lavender and other plants.
Enrolment costs €12, or €15 if registering between September 5 and before September 12.
On Wednesday, September 19 at 7pm, there will be an opportunity to learn how to belly dance with a veil in the oriental dance workshop.
Those interested in taking part need to be aged 11+ and cost is €10 or €15 if registering between September 10 and September 17.
