Fado festival in Portimão

A journey through different generations and styles is the focus of this event, which will re-create the unique atmosphere of taverns and typical Lisbon Fado houses.
Carlos do Carmo, the biggest name in Portuguese Fado, Ana Moura, an artist well-known inside and outside the country, Carminho who has ‘breathed’ Fado since her childhood and whose first album released in 2009 is placed among the best, and the 2011 Fado revelation Cuca Roseta, will be the ‘stars’ of the festival.
In order to recreate the typical environment of Fado, Fado houses and taverns, the event will have a special gastronomic offer.
Tickets range from €15 to €30 and are on sale at Portimão Arena from Monday to Friday from 9am to 12.30pm and from 2pm to 6pm.
