All seems well with baby Charlie

A British consular representative has visited the Refúgio Aboim Ascenção in Faro to check on the progress being made by abandoned baby Charlie who has been in the care of the home since he was dumped near Faro airport. Sandra Tyler Haywood, press officer at the British Embassy in Lisbon, told the Algarve Resident: "The baby was very well after his operation. All appears to have been successful and the doctors are pleased with his progress." Baby Charlie underwent an operation in connection with a cleft palate.
