Rotary Club Estoi Palace International has set up an initiative to provide help for those less financially secure in the area.

Each month, the poorer families are able to collect free bags of food from the local state facility, Casa do Povo, containing staple items such as rice, beans, pasta, olive oil and a small quantity of milk.

However, the Rotary Club has decided to fund and deliver an additional monthly supply of milk which will substantially increase the quantity now available, particularly for the children.

Casa do Povo, which means House of the People, exists for the benefit of the community including organising social support for families and individuals.

Rotary Club Estoi Palace International is interested in hearing from any individuals or organisations that would like to become involved in this initiative.

Please visit the club’s website (in English) www.rotaryestoipalace.org
