Rotary Club quiz night

Almost 90 people took part, divided into teams of up to seven and with Rotarian Shirley Dunne as the question master.
The winner was the team from Lloyd & Whyte Insurance, who generously donated their prize back to club funds.
A couple, who wished to remain anonymous, then offered to double the amount of money raised bringing the total to almost 2,500 euros.
The quiz was preceded by a dinner prepared by chef Lee Newsome.
The quiz night was held to raise funds to purchase and deliver in excess of 500 litres of milk a month to the Casa do Povo in Estoi to supplement the diets of families in the district.
