Pauliteiros de Miranda is a group of men who dance to the traditional rhythms of Miranda do Douro in the north of Portugal.
The 12 members of the group use paulitos, sticks used for dancing to the sound of the bagpipe in this traditional dance that keeps the roots of Portuguese tradition in the north alive.
The event, promoted by the Allgarve ’10 programme, aims to bring the best cultural shows to the Algarve region and provide lifetime experiences to tourists and residents alike, focusing on the traditions of the region and Portugal.
The performance by Pauliteiros de Miranda should not be missed.
