Having trained in Belgium and with more than 20 years of experience in implantology, Dr Cris Piessens specialises in dental implants and receives patients who travel from far and wide to benefit from his knowledge and skill.
The implant suite was inaugurated in 2003 and is equipped with the latest in dental technology. It has been specifically designed for dental implant surgery and other more advanced procedures, such as sinus lift and bone grafting/transplant.
A spokesman for the clinic said: “People come from far and wide to take advantage of his specialist knowledge, and experience for themselves the profound difference having fixed, stable (and, in many cases, better-looking) teeth can make to their daily lives and general wellbeing.”
The clinic offers all dentistry services, such as regular check-ups and preventive care, hygiene, fillings, root canal, extractions, crowns and veneers, dentures, teeth whitening (laser and home bleaching methods), orthodontics, implants and emergency services.
All staff speak English and Portuguese, and some speak Dutch, French and German.
